NY Post Twitter Account Locked & Censored

Twitter tries to hold the account of The Post hostage through the debate between Trump and Biden.

It's been a week since Twitter locked the account of The Post over its exposé on the emails of Hunter Biden, and the hostage situation continues to continue into Thursday's final presidential debate.

The social media giant refuses to activate the main account of The Post unless six tweets about its own reporting on the son of Joe Biden are removed by the news organization.

This suggests that the Post will not be able to share its coverage of the last showdown between President Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden with its nearly 2 million followers ahead of the Nov. 3 election.

On Oct. 14, when the news organization released the first article in its series of bombshell stories, Twitter locked The Post's main account.

Despite Twitter changing its policy on Oct. 15 and allowing other users to tweet the very same links, it remained blocked, following outrage over the suppression of the stories by social media.

"A Twitter representative told The Post in an email on Oct. 16," Although we've changed the policy, we're not retroactively modifying compliance. To regain access to your account, you'll also need to delete the tweets.

"But everyone who looks at the Twitter feed of The Post can't even see the Biden story tweets that have been replaced by messages stating," This Tweet isn't accessible anymore.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, a slew of dubious characters have always been able to send out missives, including Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who once called on the social networking site to kill Israel.

Twitter did not immediately answer a Wednesday afternoon request for comment.
